With the purpose to reduce the differences as well as to facilitate both: the pointe shoes adjustment and the dance performance, Só Dança has created Levelers and Extenders, so all types of feet can fit snugly into the pointe shoes.

The Levelers protect your toes where they need more. They also adjust your feet to fit in all the Só Dança pointe shoes.

WHY TO USE THE SÓ DANÇA TOES LEVELERS?

Physiotherapist José Luiz Bastos Melo: “The proper use of the Levelers favors impact cushioning and feet alignment when you are on pointes helping to keep your feet healthy, helping to prevent calluses, abrasions and possible deformation.”

At the Picture 1 not all the toes touch the pointe shoe bottom, but in Picture 2 they are leveled, as so the support is homogeneous and the body weight is evenly distributed over all the toes, reducing the pressure on the larger toe.

This makes all the difference to the dancer, because the Levelers favor impact cushioning and alignment of the feet when on pointe helping to improve the health of the feet and helping to prevent callus formation, abrasions and possible deformation.

A leveler for each toe

There are five sizes of Levelers, one for each toe. Each Leveler comes with an Extender that you can insert into the Leveler to increase toe length. Each pack contains 10 Levelers and 10 Extenders.

Dancers indicate their needs and Só Dança develop products to satisfy them in a simple and efficient way.

Dancing on the pointe of the toes is a hard and long work. It is important the dancers try to find the pointe shoes best fit. There are some dancers here and we can see what kind of feet they have as well as how to use the Levelers on their toes.

The dance is precision, and every dancer wants to achieve it through the total dedication at the tireless testing and at the concentration.

The dance is inherent to the dancers as well as it is inherent to the Só Dança’s DNA and to its constantly searching for evolution to provide greater comfort, safety and health for those who dance.

All the dance movements and body expressions demands much feet work, so they suffer regardless of their size, shape or types of toes. By the way, types of toes are the main difference presented for the feet.
